Hiring the Right B2G Salesperson

I am fundamentally against the idea that sales are tacky or classless, which in modern society is quite a widespread image of selling. If we take away that negative connotation and think of it from a perspective of “I'm giving you something you need and only if you need it will we engage” we will see a totally different image.

There are two main elements of sales. First of all, certain personalities will excel at sales better than other people. Those personalities are more outgoing people who are willing to do the task and are very straightforward. The second piece is learning how to sell your specific product, which is just a matter of training. They're people who are naturally good at selling and being convincing in their position, well-respected in their position, have a large network within their position, and the proper training to get them up to speed.

So, how to hire someone who can raise capital? when I interview someone, my first question is going to be what's your what's your network? If I hire you with the idea that you're going to raise money and sell a particular product, how do I know that you're able to sell? Most people can't sell.
